Guests: #DennisDanziger is the author of the novel, A Short History of a Tall Jew and the memoir, Daddy, The Diary of an Expectant Father.He co-founded with his wife, the writer Amy Friedman, the nonprofit POPS the Club (Pain of the Prison System), providing support for teens whose lives have been impacted by incarceration, detention, and deportation. Dennis' newest play is The Brothers Abelson Since 1946, which will run at the Electric Lodge in Venice, February 1- March 2. #LinneaVPraml directs. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, she subsequently trained at Los Angeles Valley College Department of Theatre and Dance and directed The Trick for Los Angeles Valley College One-Act Play Festival in May, 2024. She is the Founder/Director of Joe Praml Readers, sharing his love of poetry. #MarkiethaKaVon is an actress and writer. Her mentor Javon Johnson (Tyler perry's The Oval, Congo Square Theater in Chgo.) said ”write something you'd like to act in.” Markietha has since produced countless productions to sold out audiences in L.A. and Chicago and she continues to push herself and her writing.
